Hi, I’m Richard Sharp

Founder of Sharp Tax & Accounting.

I help individuals and business owners stay organized, plan ahead, and make confident financial decisions.

Richard Sharp, JD, CPA, is a tax professional with more than 10 years of experience in tax and accounting, with a particular focus on state and local tax matters. His SALT work includes multistate nexus, sales and use tax, voluntary disclosure agreements, taxability research, state income and gross receipts taxes, audit support, and sales tax technology implementation.

I started Sharp Tax & Accounting to provide more than just tax return preparation. My goal is to be a trusted advisor who understands your situation, explains your options clearly, and helps you make informed decisions with confidence.

With a blend of technical knowledge, practical strategy, and a down-to-earth approach, I work with individuals and businesses on tax compliance, planning, accounting, and complex multistate tax issues.
